The new O scale models released by small and large scale manufacturers are now focused on quality rather than quantity. Companies have focused on the quality of their products while keeping the prices competitive because they were able to outsource the manufacturing of their parts to other countries. New players in the O scale industry came out such as Atlas O and MTH that produces some of the most detailed model trains in the industry today. The company’s confidence in producing high quality O scale model trains today without really caring for the price is because of the growing hobbyists who are willing to spend for a good O scale model train.
