HO Scale Branchline Model Trains
Branchline is relatively new to the model train industry. The company was established in 1991 and started out by acquiring freight cars without coating and later distributing them, with coating as their product line. The company found relative success in this endeavor but their company really improved when they started manufacturing freight cars. The first trains entirely manufactured in Branchline factories were released in 1997 which became very appealing to hobbyists because of their intricate details. The company is currently manufacturing trains in three lines; the “Blueprint Series”, “Yardmaster Series” and “Laser-Art Structures”. These products are all geared towards railroad modeling.
Branchline is well known for their dedication to the HO scale model. Although they later branched out in O scale, Branchline is greatly associated with HO scale. It didn’t even matter that the company has only limited their production to three lines because these products are known for their quality. Their “Blueprint Series” is very popular to hobbyists because of its extensive details while the “Yardmaster Series” are very easy to assemble trains. The “Laser Art Structures” for HO scale is also known for its quality because they were cut with lasers which ensure its quality. Add to the fact that Branchline does not produce extensively, these products were given time and dedication to ensure quality.
