N Scale Bachmann Model Trains

Bachmann Industries, makers of Bachmann line of model scale trains is the largest manufacturer of model trains in the world in terms of volume. The company’s factory is in China but its headquarters is based in Bermuda. The company was established in Germany by Henry Carlisle in 1833 but the name Bachmann only came in 1899 when Henry Bachmann took over control of the company. Bachmann’s introduction to model scale started during the 40s when the company started rolling out toys in plastic. They started by producing accessories and buildings for sceneries in model trains. The first model trains of Bachmann were introduced in 1968. The company was successful at first but they were unable to keep up with the competition. The company was sold to Kadee which now produces Bachmann and made where it is today.

When Bachmann started releasing model trains, they first released N scale model trains which later expanded to HO model scales. Although the N scale and other model trains of Bachmann could be considered more as a toy than a collector’s item, the quality is undeniable. The model trains of Bachmann have speed controllers which enhance the power and control for the hobbyist. The track systems of Bachmann are easy to assemble requiring no bolts or additional equipments to make it run.
